TCS New York city marathon opening ceremony
Corey helmed the inception of the TCS New York City Marathon Opening Ceremony Presented by United Airlines. As Supervising Producer he curated this “Olympic-style” addition to marathon weekend, which includes a custom Broadway-like opening musical dance performance, a parade of nations, live entertainment, the introduction of top pro athletes, and climaxes with a dazzling 20-minute fireworks array.
Over 2,000 global athletes participate in the event’s finish line adjacent arena, in front of a live audience of 10,000 spectators. Broadcast live on ESPN, this program is a perennial ratings winner for local affiliate WABC-TV.
