EXPERIENCE MAKER

Corey A. Witmer (he/him/his) is an award-winning experiential and integrated producer with diverse experience crafting sports, entertainment, and lifestyle brand events; and one whose progressive skills and insight reside at the intersection of storytelling, presentation, and technology.

Bold, sharp, dynamic, progressive, forward-thinking, inquisitive, and well-rounded, he is an enthusiastic leader and storyteller who utilizes a high level of imagination to drive projects from concept through fruition, while managing all phases including logistics, technical production, talent management and financial planning.

His highlights as a producer include throwing parties for Justin Timberlake, leading an Olympic-style opening ceremony in Central Park, driving a Pride parade float for the cast of Orange Is The New Black, and hanging dancers on the peak of a 110-story skyscraper.

With his extensive brand experience, he’s evolved into the go-to producer & consultant for complex, multi-platform activations by top agencies like VMLY&R, Johannes Leonardo, INVNT, and Momentum Worldwide.

His work has been recognized by The Clio Awards, Ad Age, Event Marketer, BizBash, Sports Business Journal, and The Wall Street Journal. 

With over 15 years of event experience, New York City remains a home base, but he's also activated in over 25 major markets. Being a seasoned producer, he's produced experiential installations, brand launches, B-to-B summits and conferences, live concerts, festivals, athletic events, pop-up’s, film screenings, family entertainment, groundbreakings, and cultural exhibits. 

More recently, he’s sharpened his digital storytelling skills as an integrated producer, leading the development of scores of videos at VMLY&R for clients like Walmart, lululemon, Pizza Hut, The Lebron James Family Foundation, and Vuse.

Often holding titles like technical director, show caller, stage manager, or talent handler; in these, he’s worked with notable personalities, elected officials, and entertainers from all walks of life. This list includes Bruce Springsteen, Justin Timberlake, Kevin Hart, Jimmy Fallon, Bill Maher, Jon Stewart, Seth Meyers, Derek Jeter, Michael Moore, Chris Rock, Samantha Bee, Lance Armstrong, US Senator Kirsten Gillebrand, U.S. Representative Charles Rangel, and Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex just to name a few.

Over the years Corey has found his inspiration from a plethora of passions, including filmmaking & content creation (writing, directing, producing, acting, modeling), cinema appreciation (particularly indie’s and film noir), writing (prose, poetry, lyrics), music (DJ-ing, playlist perfectionism, and being a band-aid and general music lover (he’s attended over 150 concerts to date), athletics (middle-distance running, baseball, basketball, yoga), baseball fandom (he’s been to over 100 games at over 30 ballparks); enjoying craft beer (especially those dark, strong, and complex); and American and world-bound wanderlust (he’s visited 47 states and 15 countries to date).
