While at New York Road Runners, Corey not only led event production but also managed the development and execution of multi-channel digital content. These videos lived on web, social, and on TV (local, national, and international) and included live and streaming telecasts of marquee world-class events such the TCS New York City Marathon (on ESPN and local ABC-TV affiliate), the Brooklyn Half Marathon, and the NYC Half Marathon; as well as On The Run, a weekly running lifestyle magazine show.

Corey also helmed the inception of the TCS New York City Marathon Opening Ceremony Presented by United Airlines. As Supervising Producer he curated this “Olympic-style” addition to marathon weekend, which includes a custom Broadway-like opening musical dance performance, a parade of nations, live entertainment, the introduction of top pro athletes, and climaxes with a dazzling 20-minute fireworks array.

Over 2,000 global athletes participate in the event’s finish line adjacent arena, in front of a live audience of 10,000 spectators. Broadcast live on ESPN, this program is a perennial ratings winner for local affiliate WABC-TV.
